Abstract: Oncomelania hupensis is the only intermediate host of Schistosoma japonicum，and the growth，reproduction and distribution of O. hupensis play an important role in schistosomiasis prevalence and transmission. This article reviews the influ? ence of the new trend of ecological environment changes on the growth， reproduction and diffusion of the snails.
